 Kevin Wilhite is a local Sacramento artist whose artistic insights stem from his upbringing in the Central Valley. His early inspirations included tractors and car shows, which have significantly influenced his perspective. Since earning a graphic design degree from Sacramento State in 2007, his art has evolved into a more relaxed style characterized by the use of a palette knife and bold strokes, reflecting impressionism. His current project includes the ‘Sweet on the Eye’ series, created in partnership with Gunther’s Ice Cream, featuring paintings that capture the nostalgic essence of this popular local landmark.
